We are really chuffed to announce that we are now supporting local athlete, Max Eaves, as he attempts to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Max trains locally at the Blackpool & Fylde Athletics Club. Ascot-born Max Eaves has been Pole Vaulting since the age of 13 and, at just 22, has already won the National Indoor Title with a Senior Ranking of 1st and also won a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
“I'm really grateful to Bowker and MINI for their support,” said Max Eaves. “It's tough trying to qualify for an Olympic place and it's a big help knowing that they are behind me, helping to raise funds and awareness. It's also fantastic having a brand new car from now until the end of the 2012 Games. There's a lot of travelling to heats, competitions and promotional events so it's great being able to arrive there in style.”
